I played Elite: Dangerous in VR once and it was fucking spectacular! That said, first-person games like Fallout 4 or Skyrim dont really impress me much and I'll keep playing them the normal way.

I'll switch to VR once they figure out a way to do it Shadowrun or The Matrix style.

I really feel like the pinnacle of Tribes for me was Tribes 2. I really got into it then and even though Tribes: Ascend is good its not holding my attention.

Patch 7 is coming in January. Expecting a lot of bugfixes.

Game is mostly dead online, they released at an inopportune time. I'm hoping as they smooth things out the game blows up. This is the FPS I've always wanted out of Battlefield and Tribes: grunts on the ground all the way to capital ships.
