I love mozilla

I started using Firefox (actually was Firebird then) at work a while ago when I started getting an odd scripting error reading my email with IE. I liked it, so I installed it at home, too.

Now, I've downloaded some extensions. There are two of these gems in particular I'll mention here.
One adds an item to the right-click menu that says "remove this object". Yup, you can instantly eliminate almost anything from a web page. Bye-bye, annoying banner ads! Is a particular image, button, or other item offending or irritating? p00f! BTW, the browser blocks pop-ups and pop-unders by default.
The second extension stops Flash files from playing, and replaces them with a marker. If you want the Flash to play, just click the marker.

You can get the Mozilla suite, or just the Firefox browser, from www.mozilla.org

XMEN member
Card-carrying DTM
OKL Fish-napper

Though a program be but three lines long, someday it will have to be maintained.
The Tao of Programming
Edited by: <A HREF=http://pub141.ezboard.com/bxmenclan.sho ... ambit>XMEN Gambit at: 3/9/04 12:56 pm
