lol, been waiting for this announcement for 5 years.<br>what they might not mention, will be hom much more info can go on the bluray disks, I think it is 10x more(40 gigs?) might be 20x. either way, the blue laser,rather than the red, can send a smaller beam, hence, able to use smaller data lines.<br>so it isn't even worth buying a dvd burner now, lol may as well wait until bluray burners get as cheap as dvd-+r are now, ($120)<br>orr wait until the bluray comes out and I bet dvd burners are probably the same price as cd-burners are now($50)<br> <p></p><i></i>

Nilk you can already get DVD-burners for $80 or so. <br><br>I wouldn't fret too much about adopting blu-ray. It'll get here when it gets here. nah I usually stay a gen behind, since prices drop out of the bottoms of everything.<br>just don't see a use currently for a dvd burner<br>have an cd mp3 player in my truck(okay okay, bought that 1st gen, lol couldn't help myself, the radio doesn't work)<br>so until car audio hits dvd-mp3 playback(wouldn't that be sweet? heck I have to change cds with mp3 cds as is, wouldn't have that prob with dvd tech <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :D --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/happy.gif ALT=":D"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON END--> )<br> <p></p><i></i>
