Someone at work wanted it to play Battlefield Vietnam and 2. I got $75 for it. :)

Bought me a Geforce 6600GT off Newegg for $155.

That is until I build me a new machine next year. :) Cha-Ching!!!!

Yeah, I got a PCIe GF 6800GT and I get 85fps on the CS:S stress test thing at 1280x1024 and 40 at 2560x1024 (two screens, full detail). Since my refresh rate is only 60Hz, I'm quite happy. (Monitor is only 12 years old and so it maxes out at 1280x1024.)

These cards really kick it up a notch... especially when it comes to shaders. HL2 is truly stunning now.

Yeah, I like my 6800. :) BF2 stresses it a bit, but I've not really found anything else that does. Far Cry runs great, so I assume Doom3 would. I don't have HL2, though.
