Not a new tip, but in case you didn't know:
For many recent games that use Blink video format, you can skip the intro movies like the copyright notice, the legal jargon, the nvidia logo, etc. by renaming or deleting the .bik files in the movies folder somewhere under the main game directory. This works with BF2, BF2142, and NWN2, among others. Saves the time it'd take to load the movie and pressing a key to skip. The movie files are usually named in an obvious way, and there are, let's see, seven files in NWN2, six in 2142, and so on.
