Hi guys. Gryphon e-mailed me and I logged into the THZ forums after being out of it for so long. I thought I'd stop by here and try to rekindle some old friendships as well.
I still live in East Tennessee -- it's hard to believe it's been over 5 years since I moved out here for a job after the 9/11 washout. I'm currently working for the company that owns H*G*T*V, D*I*Y network, Food* Network, etc. It's headquartered here in Knoxville, TN.
I really haven't been playing much on line. Mostly off-line PC games and some XBOX360 and Wii gaming. For a while, I played COD online with a clan called RTW -- mainly because a co-worker axed me to.
This InstantAction thing has piqued my interest a bit. My PC is really quite woefully out of date. I guess I've been dumping most of my discretionary cash into things for my kids and home repairs. If I get around to upgrading my PC, I may have to come to you guys for advice on what to upgrade.
I've been trying to get my boss to send me to training in the DFW area so's I can look up some of you old trout-heads.
Any of you guys have blogs or anything like that? I remember back during the DTM heyday, we had some pretty enjoyable discussions about all sorts of subjects on a DTM OT discussion board. I went to the old DTM board, but it was pretty well dead.
So what's up with y'uns?
Hi guys

Glad you stopped in, RJ. We've missed ya, for sure.
The XMEN don't really have a cohesive game to hold us together anymore. Some play WoW, some LOTRO, some EVE, and there's some America's Army that still goes on with the IRS clan. Some X3 and Battlefield stuff as well. The SoUP and LoS guys merged up as SOUP and mostly play Xbox 360 these days. enDless is still out there I believe, but I'm very out of touch with them.
Porsche, BR, Hat and I have been doing some digital photography, as you'll see in the "other hobbies" forum. BR and Porsche have been published, even.

Hey RJ!!!! Missed you man.
Hey, give me a call someday...phone number is still the same.
Been play a LOT of Team Fortress 2, turns out my daughter Jaclyn loves it also, actually more than I do.
Ana is as tall as I am, turning 14 this week. Thinks she is 18.
My new wife Barb and I may fly out on her airline someday and see you bud. I think you would love her. I know I do.
David

I think I was everyone's favorite mid air target. At least I was good for target practice. I can't tell you how much I miss the simple pleasure of those days.
Iceman, I'm glad things are going so well for you. The good times can many times make up for the bad times. Koby's as big as I am... makes me feel really old sometimes. I'll give you call sometime when I have a breather and we can catch up.
I've gotten in to digital photography and video as well, but not to the professional level and quality that you fellas have. I just kind of play at it.
Asha, I like the name you chose for your new wonder. It's a good name.
