Got done working on a clients computer. Wife was going to bed early so she would be asleep when I got home, so I decided to spend my $10 Best Buy gift certificate I got for spending too much there.

So here I am wandering through a quiet Thursday night at Best Buy, drooling over all the goodies. When I see it....sitting there...in all its' glory.

A Samsung T240 24" monitor....... Open Box..... for $249. Discounted from $389.

OMG! I have been dreaming about moving up from my 19" Acer for years...but the prices have been too high.

I say to myself....eat this month...or play TF2 in 1920 x 1200. The choice was clear. I ran to a salesman and told him I wanted the monitor. He said that they just had marked it down.

I paid less for this monitor than I did for the Acer 19". Plus it has HDMI inputs, Optical Audio out, DVI and VGA inputs, and a built in USB hub!

I get it home...my stepsons are pissed because they have no money to get a flatscreen. Too bad...get a job buds. :twisted:

This thing is beautiful, especially on my old eyes.

What an amazing night.... Sometimes you get lucky. :)
