*** Spoilers ahead! ***

OMG!!!

The sight of Galactica dropping into the atmosphere like that, with the fire and everything.... just totally ROCKED!!!!! Dropping off Vipers then jumping out again..... just totally ROCKED!!!!! Pegasus showing up like that, taking the heat off of Galactica, and then playing kamikaze as it took out two base stars.... just totally.... (well, you get the idea).

I'm kind of surprised, however, that Adama did not consider the possibility of there being more than 2 base stars guarding New Caprica. When the 3rd and 4th showed up he said, "We can't hold off four!" Well, DUH!!! Even I figured that more would show up once a Battlestar appeared in orbit.

What other stuff.....

Totally not surprised that Kacey was NOT Starbuck's daughter. I actually thought the child might have been a Cylon.

Kind of felt sad for Tighe. Adama was getting all the congratulations as Tighe was all but forgotten.

It'll be interesting to see where things go from here. What happened to Baltar? What's the big deal about the Cylons having the half human/half Cylon baby?

Next!

The big thing with the half-and-half, is that it's the Cylon's view of how to bridge the gap with humanity and understand love. If I remember correctly, they believe that you can't have a child without love, and that the ideal parents of the new generation are half-and-halfs.

I understood Tighe's character, from what he had to do to his wife to what happened on Galactica. That guy has basically been beat up pretty bad: eye, abuse in detainment, wife being a traitor, wife cheating on him, getting back to Galactica and no one recognizing him for his contributions on the ground. Poor guy, he's one of my favorite characters too. I hope he doesn't get killed off. (You never know!)

It definately was a night of NO WAY!!!!

I loved it. I figured that the Cylons would get the child back but what it has to offer to them in the end result is still unknown. The drop into orbit and launch vipers was awesome. Especially the effect of when the jumped out again. Poof... huge intake of air. It was a night of me telling everyone to quiet....

I will also be interesed to see what happens to Baltar as well as all the others now locked on board ships who helped the cylons. Its obviously hinted at in the previews of deaths, but to what extent and how far.
