yeah those of you who got the bittorrent file didnt get the message that DirectX wasnt included in the installer to reduce file size. Go get the latest (im running 9.0c), then it will start fine.

Where do I go to get directx 9.0c... I tried searching it but no luck, come to think of it, I cant remember the last time I had luck with searchin anything

EDIT: Alright I installed it and after I downloaded it (the whole process literally took 20 seconds.) I restarted my computer and tried it and im still getting the same error... Do you think it has to do with downloading it from gamedrome's link to some foreign website? it only took 5 hours to download.

If you installed DirectX and its still asking for that file...I dont know.

Try reinstalling the game.

I installed the demo without DX9.0c. When I tried to run the game, it complained about it, so I found and installed the DX upgrade. Ran the game again and it was fine (except for the bit about an account name, grr).

Look at Ice's original post. I have Dx 9.0c and still didn't have the file they wanted. There's a link on the original announcement to get the file you need. Just download it, and unzip it into your /Windows/System32 folder. I did that, and the game runs fine.

Ok, I played it for like 4 hours straight last night and I was hooked. The graphics were almost surreal in detail. The sounds with my new sound card were so realistic it was scarey. I really did not care for the Titan missions as much as the other, but I think it was because I was not familar with it. The Mechs ROCK!!! Loved it. The hover tanks take some getting used to. I like the weapons immensely.

Plus the commander interface was nice. I took command of 8 matches last night and we only lost 1. Loved it.
