Just got done watching the first episode of season eight tonight, and I was quite thoroughly impressed. Matt and Trey managed to simultaneously:<br><br>Perfectly recreate boyhood memories of imagined combat<br>Make fun of Dragonball Z <br>Totally diss the 'sex is worse than voilence' part of American culture.<br><br>I actually applauded... mostly because the episode brought back all kinds of boyhood memories. <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :) --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON END--> <br><br>Anyone else a SP fan? <p></p><i></i>

Oh, and in case you missed it, 'Banzai' is coming to Comedy Central. I don't know if it's the <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--><em>first</em><!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> Japanese game-show to come to US TV, but it is by FAR the weirdest. Mrs. Bug and I saw an episode while we were moving up to Minnesota, and we could not stop laughing. <br><br>Basically, the show is a bunch of completely inane contests, and if you so desire, you can actually bet on the outcome of each one by calling in to the show's 800 number. The contests are, in a word, <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--><em>bizarre</em><!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->, completely defying description.<br><br>It's brainless and stupid, but it appeals to the low-comedy portion of my brain. <p></p><i></i>

That bonzai show is just weird but funny <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :) --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON END--> .<br><br>They use to play it, I think on the USA network, late at night on the weekends a while back and use to watch it then. Glad to see it coming back.
