Sadly, no single player right now. There's a SP demo coming out sometime in September. I have heard that it's a lot like Tribes. Plays almost the same. (That's from Joe Shmoe... from the TRP boards.)<br> <p></p><i></i>

4 Maps in CTFand 4 game types.<br><br>It is a pretty good mix between t1 and t2, I don't feel it leans toward one or the other.<br><br>When you create your character, go ahead and put your tags in your name, the team creation system does not work as far as I know. I found Gryph and Ferret just by putting "THZ" in my buddy list.<br><br>My own gamename is XMEN|Gambit[DTM]. *shrug* And yes, you can change it whenever it suits.<br><br><br>I like the game. It's Fast, and it's Three-dimensional (jetpacks), and it's Purty. I turned down the detail a little and can play comfortably at 1024x768, with my Athlon 1800, Ti4200 and 512mb. I was really expecting the deployable side of things to stink, me being the turret monkey that I am, but it's really not too bad. There are individual stations for each deployable, including mines, and you can tell at a glance if one needs to be replaced because it's back in its little cubby. The downside is you always have to go back to base to get one. OTOH, anyone can carry a deployable, and it doesn't interfere with anything else in your inv.<br>Generators are still Very Important. And instead of sensors scattered around the map there is one big sensor at the base - take it out and you have no sensor readouts, so they've dumbed that down quite a bit. I kind of liked the vehicles, though they are way different than anything Tribes has had before. The base turrets are not automatic and must be manned. <br>It did hang up on me once, though it seemed pretty stable the rest of the time.
