Sundays gonna be a Blast

Tommorow, my Dad and I along with his buddy are going out the the Eastern Shore of the Bay (Chesapeake Bay) to catch some tasty rockfish
.
Can't wait to fry them up mmm.
If I catch somthin good i'll throw up some pictures

Im back now. Got onto the water at about, ehh, 6am. Didn't get off the water until about 2pm. Got sunburned a little on my arms past my elbows as well as a little bit on my lower back and face.
Within a half an hour my dad's friend's son caught 2 rockfish and I had caught 3 catfish all around 21 inches. After that we caught about 3 white perch that were like not even 10 inches.
(The max limit on rockfish was 2 per person and since there were 4 of us that woulda been 8, and only getting 2 was a little disappointing. There weren't limited on any of the other fish though.) Then we just sat around and ate, did some drift fishing, and just talked. On the way back we jumped off the boat an swam in some water about 8 and a half feet which was about 200 yards off the shore of an island.
Had a good time, haven't hung out with my Dad for awhile without like my Mom and/or sisters around. Some good father/son time ya know
*Took a picture with one of the rockfish because the catfish were pretty ugly and didnt think ya'll would wanna see one of them. I'll get it posted when my Dad's friend sends it up

Heh, also got a new nickname 'Catfish John'
. Heh 3 catfish within 20 mins.

Ahhh, burns have started to not hurt so bad.

This is the one pic I didn't like 2 much... The other had gotten like cutoff and you couldnt see the fish. That one I was holding up with both hands at my chest level, looked cool.

Hehe, hair was very, VERY messed up because of the wind while coming back from the boat. Normally it looks good

Yawn we are supposed to be going out again b4 the summer ends and hopefully if they actually bite good and we get our limit the fish will be about 2 times bigger

Nah....they have spines on their back fins....they tend to get "wedged" into uncomfortable places.

Aha, ya well I refused to pick them up anyway... their whiskers are ugly looking
