Today is the day I got my learners ! I passed the test 17 out of 20 which was the minimum you could get right to pass
. I was on the last question knowing I needed to pass it to get my learners... and I was deciding between 2 anwsers and then it just came to me ! Hah it wasnt either of the two I was deciding on either... Don't remember quite what the question was but it was worded weird and was confusing.... But all that matters is that I passed and drove a half an hour home scaring the crap outa my mom the whole way... After about 15 mins of the drive I got the hang of not stomping on the break and to make sure I wasnt going like 60 in a 45 zone... ( even tho everyone else was
) I still have to work on making sure I stay into the center lane and not drift over to the guardrail on the right where my mom would freak out... Once I started to relax it was all good... I did however when making a left turn not slow down enough and sorta well ya know... Lets just say that scared the crap outa my Mom... Hmm only law I broke was coming out of the MVA I sorta just rolled through this stop sign that was covered by a tree for the most part... After my Mom was like, "uh... you just ran a stop sign but thats alright..." I managed to pay attention more closely... It was a fun experience that took 30 mins but felt more like a few hours... In my opinion im a good driver and didnt get flipped off like I was sure I would've
.

Congratulations! I wouldn't jump to any conclusions about your ability just yet, but I'm glad you made it home. I learned to drive in the winter up here, and let me tell ya.. If you learn to drive in heavy snow, you can drive through anything.

Night driving is most all I do now, especially since it's winter time. Slow down at night, and be extra careful.

I hate night driving... I do dumb things after dark. I stop at green lights. My depth perception REALLY changes... i.e. I start slowing for red lights 1/4 mile away. and I run over those squirrel things..... squirrels say, "dump thump".
Oh, and a Pb foot is really bad. I now always drive w/in 3 mph of the posted limit. Oh, and never be in a hurry to get anywhere. Even if you're an hour late, drive as if you're still 20 mins early.
Oh, and sports cars are fun.

I just saw a dude on a motorcycle yesterday with a side car on it. He was heading north on 494 at 2:45 PM. I figured he was missing something in the head I don't know.... The roads were slushy, wet and icy.

Well, they ARE more stable with the sidecar. If you had to drive a motorcycle in those conditions, wouldn't you want to do it with a sidecar?

Why would you want to ride one in the middle of winter in traffic???? My guess is he wanted to dye.

What, he wanted to make his cycle pretty colors?
I think you meant "die."
Honestly, I don't know, and neither do you. He could have been an idiot, there's certainly no shortage of them. (Was he wearing a helmet and leathers?) Or there could be circumstances we don't know about. But my point remains that he's probably safer with the sidecar than without.

He had a helmet and leathers and yes I can't spell die right.

He was probably taking his bike in to get iot worked on.. the Shops right now are slammed with start of season tune ups/ misc. repair qwork to be done right now. I can't get mine in, as much as I'd like too, my mechanic is too booked up.
