What's funny about the "All your base" thing is that I had a security briefing at work a while back and it came up.

I was doing this briefing and this slide came up and it was a street sign and a tv screen capture that both said, "All your base are belong to us!"

I about died laughing. And I think I was the only one that got the joke. I'll get a picture so that you guys can see it. If it's okay with my security folks.

Can't that phrase just die. It was funny the first year but it has lost its charm long ago.

Maybe I should create a character with that name in my story just so I can kill it.

Some minor admiral could go rouge, issue an "All your base" ultimatum, and get his forces reduced to subatomic particles by the entire civilized galaxy for the affront.
