Over the Christmas break, I was going to set up my aquarium which has been in a box in the garage for 10 years or so. Been through a couple of moves, too, so it shouldn't have come as a surprise that there was a hole broken into the bottom of it. Sigh. So, I bought one from someone local for cheap, which was bigger and came with a cast iron stand, but it leaked having been given much the same treatment as mine. The stand alone was easily worth what I paid, though, so I'm still OK, and I can theoretically rebuild it. Bought a cheap 10-gallon from Wal-Mart and stocked it with mostly livebearers just to get back into it. Will post pics sometime.
Also bought a used PS2 off eBay over Christmas. Got a good deal with several games (mostly sports) and a memory card, so I'm also trying to take my 2005 Cowboys to the superbowl... :lol
I had a birthday in early March, and got some Amazon gift certs. Also got some appreciation gifts from work that I was also able to convert to Amazon gift certs. So I cashed them in towards a gently-used Dell Axim PDA, and I like it. A lot.
We just recently moved our office. Since we manage a lab that is continuously used for testing by our internal customers, we had to move that too. So, several of us worked hard on that all weekend - perhaps the phrase "every waking moment" has some meaning to you? Well, I was tired enough from that that when I came home on Monday after a full day's work, I was a little too close to the side of the garage and knocked off my passenger-side mirror. Sigh. Ordered a replacement power mirror (cheap!) from http://www.carmirrors.com/ and installed that last night. Seems to work OK.
