ROFL - Its been a LONG time. Wow, okay, here I was [XMEN]Ravok[DTM] the resident NOOB just staying in default gear so I dont waste anyone's time at inventory stations. At this time, I don't have ANY scripts loaded. It is so much fun without the pressure to win that clan warfare gave me. I suck!

I mean, here we go. We have the BloodEagles just rampaging. They are doing midair flagswaps, MA'ing, raping, and all sorts of stunts. What am I doing? "I am repairing our generator" Hahahaha

I mean, what better position to be in when you can't play! I try to dodge all the incoming, wait till they all die, and then I go in for the rapid repair!

WOOT! I am a LEET repair-man!

But this is such a great game. I can only imagine how good this game could be without skiing. They should have made a game with a physics engine closer to the original Tribes design. I still miss troops of friends in an APC.

People need so much skill now to work together with the high speed skiing involved that I will never truly be a good player in Tribes.

I would have loved to have had strategies where you lay a mine-field, beacon it, and form assault and defense. I am still waiting for a game where you can entrench your defenses, and have a good chance to defeat an incoming PVP assault.

With different tools to break an entrenchment, form entrenchments, and build teams for a proper assault of an entrenchment.

At this time, I have no clue how to stop the pure offensive power of modern day tribes, and I like to play defensively.

Still, what a great game that after so many years, people still enjoy it.

Yeah, Tribes is a fantastic game, one of the greats of all time, IMO, too bad it didn't really catch on like Doom or Half-Life. :(
