June 21, 2006: Wine 0.9.16 Released

Wine 0.9.16 was released today. It contains some noticeable improvements including:

More work on Direct3D shaders.
Major DirectDraw rewrite on top of Direct3D.
Support for debug information in Dwarf format.
Beginnings of an OleView Winelib application.

World of Warcraft runs wonderfully on Linux under wine.

I happily run Diablo II and Starfleet Command under Wine (or Cedega).

America's Army, Darwinia, id games, and UT have native Linux versions.

And there are a few true originals, like BZTank, that are quite popular.
