Hammer and I are looking at playing with some Linux Distros. We want your opinions for two different versions.
1. Gaming - PC gaming emulation.
2. HTPC - Home theatre PC.
Opinions...comments please.
Gracias!
What is your favorite Linux Distro?

Well, if you want PC emulation, you'd better make sure you can run Cedega. http://www.transgaming.com/index.php?mo ... ay&ceid=29
I believe they directly support .deb and .rpm distributions - probably Red Hat or (k)Ubuntu would be the best for your gaming distro. And you'll need the proprietary nVidia binaries for your kernel, just have to make sure the versions match.
For HTPC, your problem is not going to be distro, but hardware. Your best choice for software would probably be Myth (http://www.mythtv.org/). Myth is partial to the Hauppage line of TV cards, and there are also motherboards and network cards that work better than others. The documentation on the website provides information about specifics. Debian, I think, will work best for Myth, though you can also use Red Hat or Mandriva. Possibly (k)Ubuntu.
