I'm sure they are expensive. But then again, how long have they been disbanded for ? It's not like anyone seriously expected them to tour again.

What Asha Means is - Get drunk, fall down, ask a bouncer to dance, and see how far six of them can toss you out of the arena just before the 45 minute encore, infuriating your wife to no end, to where you start a domestic dispute in a foreign city, and have to call your brother to bail you out of jail in Denver. Then, when he says hell no, Barb comes around and drops the charges, and says nothing to you the rest of the trip.

All of this mind you, is documented on your cell phone and digital camera, so you can never ever live it down.

Yanno, Asha, I've heard of people using that song to march down the aisle to at their weddings. Always seemed a little off to me.

A gal that I work with told me that one of her good friends used "Imperial March" from the Star Wars movies.

I think it's hilarious, and I told my fiance that she could use something like that. She... declined.

My brother had "Yoda's Theme" playing at his wedding.

Oh yes, it would have. Especially if I'd told her either I could use it, or she and your mother could. I did threaten to elope a couple times when Mom and I got in an argument about stuff. Made the threat after the nonrefundable deposits were out. (I'm pretty easygoing but this was stuff that mattered to me)

I think it's just easier to run off to Vegas and get married... Fewer people, and then when you're in the dress and he's in the tux, (Or is that the other way around?) People will buy you drinks.

Heh my father gave me some money for Mrs. DK and my wedding. When he handed the check over he did so with one word.

Should have taken his advice. Not that our wedding was bad or anything. It was good... low budget... My uncle Bob loved it (ceremony lasted half an hour). But I think the memories of getting married in Jamacia on the beach or something would have been better. Plus the immediate inlaws would have never spoken to me again.

Yep, my last wedding lasted about 10 minutes. Quick and easy.

Ice we know it was only that short because you would have fallen asleep if it was any longer.

This Vegas thing that Missy and I are doing isn't really eloping, and it's still a lot of damn work to get everything planeed and setup... We wanted to do a destination wedding, to be different. So, off to Vegas we go!
