It's good to see you guys are still alive and kickin. I see a lot has gone on lately, congrats Asha, Sirus, Iceman, and those others who are havin kids and anyopne else who had bigs things happen while I was gone.
A lot has happened since I dropped off the face of the internet some 3 or 4 years ago. I moved out on my own, and haven't really been able to afford internet, or cable. Which is funny to tell salesmen from the cable companies when they come by. They think I'm crazy. About 2 years ago I got married. Then bought a house, all that has kept me incredibly busy. Now the fun is gonna start. In November I found out I'm gonna be a Dad. It's a boy and he's due in July.
Thinking back, I can't believe how much things have changed since I first got to know you guys. I was some pimply faced teenager who had all the time in the world. Now I wish I could get some of that time back. I will try to check in more often than I have from now on. I guess that's about it for now. What have all of you guys been up to lately? (within the past 3 years)

After today I may not get many chances to check in often, just in case I dont reply. Right now we are house sitting and my wife is watching some friends of ours daycare. They come back today, and I dont often have access to the internet. The local library has blocked these forums saying something about there being gambling here. I will have to talk to them about that.
Not having the internet has led to many amusing stories. About a year ago I was in wal-mart and just looked through a PC magazine. The moment I read the first article I was like "holy crap, 64 bit processors are out already!". I felt kinda like a dork. That and I still have my old computer that I built when I was a junior in high school. I wasnt thinking it was that old. However after using my friends computer and telling my wife how much of a piece of crap it was I checked the system profile. The only thing different from my computer is that its an XP 1600+ while mine is an XP 1800+. Someone actually gave it away to my friends for free.
I should suggest the name Kublai for my son...but I dont think my wife will approve.

ROFL!!!
This site is blocked a lot of places (like my work!), because the hosting company tends to not be really picky about its client base. I'm not surprised that they also host gambling sites, and I think someone once told me they also hosted *cough* pr0n. Nowadays there's a little more competition in the low-end hosting market, so maybe I should look around.

I'd check 1and1 gambit. I've been hosted there for 3 years with nary a hitch. I think it's like $2.99 or something a month for a pretty basic package, with a 100Mb MySQL Dbase.

1and1 is actually on my list. I had a trial account there but never actually set it up. What version of PHP do they run?

On my website they're running PHP 4.4.4. I think with some of the higher packages they run V5+, but I'm not sure. I had the 3 year professional trial, and I liked it, so I went with them to continue my hosting after the trial was up this year.
