Wow.. Has it been that long since I've stopped by to visit?
Shit.
Umm.. I bought a condo and right around then I was closing on it.
I'm in the process of applying to grad school as well as investigating purchasing two or three dental practices as investments.
So I've been very busy.
How is everyone!!?
I know I don't stop by as often as I used to as much as I'd like - but in my defense I only got internet access in my condo (that I wasn't stealing) yesterday.
I hope things are well!

How the heck do you pay for grad school and TWO dental practices to boot? Do you mean "purchasing" or do you mean "investing in along with other partners?"
In any case, that should set you up pretty well for cash flow if you're not borrowing enough that the interest will kill you. Congrats!

I took a hefty chunk of debt on to finish off my grad school. I'm thinking of getting a PhD still, but... MAN! That's a lot of dough. I guess if you got into the male partner business, you could do it. Err.... female partner business? Whatever... the point is... use what you've got, man!

Well to answer everyone's question - the unique thing about this proposition is that all the practices in question are generating significant income whether I buy them or not. So the bank loan will pay itself off no problems. The issue becomes hiring dentists to run them such that they will generate income - and that's easy. A well established bonus system will keep revenue and production high.
In any case, it's still too early - I've only just contacted the owners.. and as of tomorrow I have to keep quiet as I'll have signed a non-disclosure agreement.
Just trying secure some finances before I go back to grad school.
