Who is watching the 2 hour Knight Rider movie that will probably be the start to a new series?

I know I am. For those of you who don't know here are some key points to the show:

1) Its a sequel to the original, not a remake
2) KITT now stands for Knight Industry Three Thousand
3) Mick Tracer is related to Micheal Knight
4) KITT is a Mustang
5) There is no more turbo boost, at least not now
6) The creator of the original KITT created this new KITT and is the link to the original show
7) KITT if voiced by Val Kilmer ("Iceman" from Top Gun)
8) Micheal Knight does appear in the movie for a scene
9) KITT can "shape shift" a little due to its nano-tech armor (instead of the molecular bond the original had)

Thats about it that comes to mind.

So post here before and after the movie if you want to voice your opinion on how well they did in creating it and how it compares to the original.

I watched it, I really liked it, I had a Fordgasm. It did have it's cheesy Sunday night made for TV movie parts but overall I think it was well done and the story worked well with the original series and wasn't over the top unlike Knight Rider 2000 which was extra cheesy.

I hope it gets picked up, however, I am afraid it won't last more than a season probably unless Sci-fi or other picks it up. I just don't see it as a long term NBC hit.

The movie is on hulu.com, site by NBC and News Corp to stream full shows, if anyone wants and invite, PM me your email address.

I watched it. First of all, the Mustang rox. VERY sweet ride.

Secondly, there were some scenes I could have done without. The lesbian thing with the FBI agent, and the multiple girls in bed with Mick didn't add a thing to the story and seemed to be in there for gratuitous purposes. It was kind of uncomfortable watching this with my son during prime time. Overall, I thought the movie was decent and the special effects were very cool (KITT changing colors, etc.). However, if they can't keep it just a tad more family friendly I don't think it'll get much airtime at my house.

Not that I am complaining, but yeah the lesbian thing was kind of odd, but I don't mind it in the story :P

The girls in bed with Mike was useful to the story though imho. I think it defines his character as to what type of life he leads along with the gambling story.
