Yeah...got it

I loaded the 64-bit version on my gaming rig...and WOW...dual cores running at speed Rocks! The OS is flying...instant response.

BUT...dang thing is having problems with dual-channel memory on my motherboard. I had to make it single channel before it would go stable and install. Gonna do a bios upgrade to see if it helps. Wish me luck.

Installing my games right now. So far I am impressed.

I like it, I don't like using XP at work now.

I'll be going Vista Ultimate as soon as I get my new machine built. I'm kinda looking forward to it.

I'm putting off everything Vista as long as I possibly can. Too much about it I don't trust.

you mean like... TrustedInstaller.exe? :D

I actually love Vista Ultimate... but I'd have to say that a dual core CPU is a must. That "TrustedInstaller" and the indexing services are real CPU hogs. (And they seem to wait until game time to do anything... kinda sucks playing a game and have it come to a crawl because TustedInstaller is currently using 90% of your CPU time. :?

But then again, I'm probably the only one on the planet w/o a dual core CPU yet. :( But who cares... I'm going to the 12 hours of Sebring!!! (at about the cost of building a brand new mid-range PC)

Well, I'm not running Vista, but I do like my quad-core. :) Was a good black friday deal - what's a geek to do?

Fixed my dual-channel memory issue. Found out that all I had to do is bump up the voltage from 1.8 volts to 1.95 volts and now it works great.

So far I love Vista. I was scared of it to, but wanted a 64-bit OS to take advantage of the horsepower and I am VERY glad I did it. COD4 is beautiful under DX10.

Woot!!!!

Vista Rocks for people who know what they are doing. If you are not smart enough to use vista you shouldn't be on a computer anyway...

JESTER!! How ya doin' man?

I'll be making the move to Vista this weekend. I'm looking forward to it, although a couple of our uber-geeks at work hate it and think that XP-64 is a more stable platform.
