I'm not dead!

Well... here in Cincinnati we survived HURRICANE Ike! Never in a million years would I have thought that Cincinnati would be hit by a category 1 hurricane. Today is day 3 with no power at home and we're expecting it to be at least one more day before that's fixed. I may not get cable back until mid next week and I'm already beginning to go insane from the lack of internet!
So, in short, all the food from the refridgerator and both freezers is inedible... there's no hot water... I can't cook anything unless it can be grilled, there was a bum rush on all the gas stations and there's no more gas, grocery stores are empty (but restocking after all the panic mongers have finished buying all the junk food in the state)... what else.... oh, the neighbor kids are playing outside for the first time in years... so there's a nice new football sized dent in the side of my mom's car...
All-in-all... Sunday was fun... the aftermath just plain sucks!
I got some pictures of the mess at work... and the nice hole in our roof at home... those'll get posted once I get internet back at home. :-S
