They're planning on $1/GB after the cap. That seems a pretty reasonable and open policy to me. I'd like to see ways to monitor your usage, though - I could be way off.

verizon is the last hold-out on this idea. FiOS is where to go if it's available in your area!

It can be a good idea and can be a large chain and ball on those it is applied to depending on what they set their mins at. Big thing would need a tracker like your electricity meter to see just what you use. Plus what about updates to the AT&T software on your 'puter or Automatic Windows updates. Should you be charged or tracked on those?

If it comes directly from your ISP, it shouldn't count. Windows updates are your own fault for using Windows. (Of course Mac and Linux have the same issue.) I agree with the meter!
