Ok, just watched it. They answered a lot of stuff and in some surprising ways. And some of course created new questions.

Pity, though. I liked Dee.

Earth was a Cylon colony?

Funny.... I don't feel like a Cylon.

Neither did Boomer, or Tigh, or Anders, or... :)

I'm mildly curious about the Xenabot. Is it just her that's staying, or all models of her? (Thereby effectively "boxing" herself.) Seems if she was concerned about Cabal finding them, well, he knows they were looking for Earth.

Deana was the only one to be unboxed, the rest of her model were destroyed on the hub. I wouldn't be surprised if the 13th colony was made up of half breads originally and then redesigned the cylons when they wanted to take some of the work off their backs hundreds of years later when they forgot they themselves were cylons. The 13th colony probably destroyed themselves because of something similar to the US civil war.

Have to wonder about Starbuck as she isn't shown as a cylon but she found herself in the viper long since dead with the same dog tag and ring from Anders.

Did you guys catch that they said that "Mars was the same way too"??

Seems like there was something even bigger than just earth being nuked.

I've always wondered if there were different classes of cylons though. The centurions always seemed to be mostly machine-like, and the skinjobs all seemed to be serving different purposes and having different rank. Especially with Cavil and his lot.

*SPOILER...

I thought it interesting that Starbuck thought she was a Cylon. It explains herself, but not necessarily her ship. Nor does it explain the extremely long-distance distress beacon from the crashed ship being picked up by her Viper on Galactica.

And if the resurrection ship had all of the models, but the final 5 on board, how did the final 5 become integrated into the colonies? (I'm thinking genetic memory of some sort.) And I don't think Starbuck is a Cylon. ;)

To explain why the final 5 are a part of the other cylons beliefs Ive been thinking that they were found by scouts of the thirteenth tribe after the war when they were exiled. It was then that they aided in the development of the skinjobs by modifying their base code to lead to the chain of events seen in the series. They didnt intend for the attack on the colonies but in case they did everything was put into place for when it did.

As for the Viper and the signal. Im thinking there is still something left of the thirteenth colony. The final scenes show that Helen knew of something that will allow them to be reborn. I think Starbuck did get transported to Earth when her ship exploded but instead of freely in orbit she crashed into the surface. The same system that brought final 5 back after the destruction of Earth brought her back, duplicating everything she was wearing and flying in. She stayed in orbit for a few minutes and then re-entered the machine which took her to the nebula where the fleet found her. Basically there is a resurrection ship nearby that does more than just bring back the person.

Ok, let's recognize the fact that there is some type of intelligent force on earth or the solar system that handled Starbuck and duplicated her and the ship.

That force did not make its' purposes clear or send a straight message. Why? Why the lack of more info other than leading them to earth? Lack of programming, scenarios, maybe this is a much bigger picture/chess game than anyone realizes????

If you really want to mess with us make that force be.........

Skynet!!!!! :)
