I just added this as a gadget on my sidebar in Vista. Now I can listen to my fav. tunes..... Jamming to Phil Collins......

I had this on XP but the sidebar is starting to be a fun tool to use on Vista.

How to get it to work on 64-bit Vista.

Running Flash-dependent gadgets on 64-bit Vista.

Because Adobe does not provide a 64-bit plugin for their Flash player, gadgets that require Flash (such as Pandora) will not operate on 64-bit Vista. Recently, someone pointed me to a post on The Average Gamer detailing how to automatically launch the 32-bit Sidebar instead of the 64-bit one automatically every time you log in. Here's how to do it:

* In the System Tray right-click on the Sidebar icon and select Properties
* Uncheck the "Start Sidebar when Windows starts" option
* Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Sidebar
* Drag and hold Sidebar.exe over the start orb
* Then drag and hold it over All Programs
* And again (drag and hold) over startup
* Now drop it into startup

Hrmm.. that would be really cool to have that in my sidebar.. Anyone know how to get news feeds from somewhere other than MSNBC in my start bar? Also, does anyone know when Adobe might actually get 64bit support for flash? I run firefox as my browser, so it's not sucha big deal, but this 32bit / 64 bit mashup of apps just seems stupid...

I expect the 64/32 mashup will last longer than the 32/16 bit did. Probably due to the size of the installed base.
