Come in! Have a margarita or root beer? How about some fresh trout? :)

Direct2Drive sale

Post by XMEN Gambit »

FYI guys, a bunch of download-only games on sale at D2D. I don't have a D2D account, but I'm thinking about picking up one or two of these.

For $5 you get games like:

NWN2
Titan Quest Bundle
Assassin's Creed
Bioshock
Civilization 4

FYI, the game selection changes every few days. Some on the previous list are no longer available, but some more are added, like World of Goo and Sword of the Stars.

It continues. This week it is a pile of strategy and war games. Supreme Commander Gold, Brothers in Arms, Hearts of Iron collection, Battlestations: Pacific, and plenty more plus leftovers from previous weeks.

I don't have an account with that site but getting all of the X-coms for $5 is really tempting. As a young kid, I lost many nights, days, and maybe even months playing the original X-com. Only got another one later on, Apocalypses I think, but it didn't have the same feel as the original. Maybe later this week I might setup an account and get it.

I did, and am happy with it so far. Not sure how far I really trust the service's dependability but at $5 a pop it's probably worth the risk.
