I bought the Vizio VO42L FHDTV10A from Costco today, and I have to say that after using it for a few hours tonight it is fantastic. Watched a baseball game regular def, and everything looked pretty good, but then I connected my laptop via HDMI... WOW. I played WoW on it for a bit, and that was quite the experience.. If you're in the market, take a look at Vizio, don't think you will be disappointed... Next test will be the Xbox in 720p.. I'll report more later!

So is the TV 720, 1080, i/p?

I bought a Vizio 37" LCD two years ago for our bedroom and have NEVER regretted it. It is very clear, beautiful, and easy to use.

That TV is a 1080p LCD panel.

I've found DirecTV only supports up to 1080i, but it still looks great.
