Anyone interested in getting on around 8pm central on Monday nights for either some pub ownage or (depending on numbers) playing on a private server? Most of the private servers are unlocked for use by anyone it seems.

I think it was just Ice and I. Won some, lost some, got llama'd a lot while trying to cap. We definitely need voice next week. And more people!

I'm still in Detroit until next weekend. This hotel's internet is not very stable.
I'll try and play some tonight. Got a LOT of homework to do!

For some reason I've had a horrible ping lately, so your hotel ping wouldn't be noticed. Need to reboot my linux router or shoot my switch or something. I can only cap with a 200+ ping, and not very well at that.

Rebooted Linux router (uptime 355 days) and now my pings are back down. WTF Linux? I thought you were better than that.

Linux is an OS. A program on any OS can consume or orphan resources over time. Check your WRT (or whatever) software for a patch?

It's not a hacked router. It's one of my old multiboxing machines (only 4 gigs of ram and a quad core Intel) running CentOS with dual gig nics. And it's all patched. I played a match and still had some random high pings, but not as bad as before. It's probably my ISP TBH.
