Village Creek Turkey Bowl - 12/29/07

I went back out to Village Creek MX track today to shoot a good friend of mine, Aaron Remkus #914, on his new Kawasaki 450. I went out there thinking it was just going to be a practice day, but it turned out that they were actually racing today! Got a ton of shots of Aaron, and a few others, too.

The sun was very bright today which gave me the idea of trying for a silhouette shot. Let me know what you think. I did some levels adjustments because the rider wasn't quite dark enough. Not sure how well the overall image works, though.

Here are a couple of the beginning of a race. I was laying on the ground by the track in order to get this perspective. I wanted to get some of the action of the riders, but I also wanted to get some of the dirt getting kicked up behind them.
