ICQ Woes

Not many symptoms here:<br><br>My system crashed while ICQ was open (a rare WinAmp bug I wasn't careful around) and after rebooting, ICQ refuses to start. I'm using 2000b and now it just stays on the spinning flower splash screen for minutes instead of loading the program.<br><br>I've tried ICQ Lite (a hideous little thing) and now I'm making due with Trillian, but I have no idea what state my list is in. That was my next step, but instead I tried to grab 2003Pro. It's working fine, and it has the same interface of 2000b that I'm used to. Yeah, I tried Trillian for a bit, but I don't like the UI, and it didn't do a great job with my list. I'm on a newer ICQ now. Looks fine. Cool thing about Trillian is that it's skinnable. Check out "Dark Bevel", that's my fave. But there's lots, and they're all very different.<br><br>Oh, there are "families" of skins, in which the only difference may be color or whatnot. But you find individuals, too - there's one for instance that is modeled on the works of H.R. Giger (looks like Alien).
