KB said that you guys were the ones to go to. Recently got XP installed and I get UE's when trying to load up Tribes, but I never played T2 on it before so I don't know if it ever did work. I have a crappy computer P2 450mhz with a voodoo 2 (yes, voodoo 2). I thought maybe drivers would help but I don't even know if they make them. So.. um... help? Thanks.

First of all, get the WickedGL program and run it for Tribes 2. This is a miniGL driver program for Voodoo cards. It will ask you what program you want to run the WickedGL drivers for, Pick Tribes 2 of course and point it to install them in your T2 directory. Get it here: <a href="http://www.wicked3d.com/technology/wick ...  Then try to run Tribes 2 again. If that doesn't work then you may have some spyware programs that auto-installed on you from some websites or emails, or even programs. Get the spyware killing program from www.lavasoftUSA.com. Run it, once in awhile, it will find and remove them. You get the all the time. Tribes 2 HATES spyware. Bah! I'm in the middle of a huge important download and it wants me to restart my computer... Well I didn't get enough sleep last night, my eyes burn, and I've spent the last few hours drawing deformed diseased babies (Warning: Only ask if you really want to know) so I needs some sleep. Rest assured I'll come crawling back here tomarrow with whatever problem crops up next, like to keep you on your toes. If I ever get this blasted thing working though I'll take ya for a spin in my tank. Thanks again. You rock.

Alright, I think I got all that drivery stuff done. No more errors or complaints. No nothing. It makes computer thinky noises for a bit and then the mouse cursor will suddenly change posistions, but that's all that happens, and T2 is running in some form or another but all I see is my desktop.

Dang I wish you were here in Dallas/Fort Worth...we could have you up in an hour. Ok, sounds like that XP driver is not working OR there have been problems with the T2 intro not playing on peoples systems. Let's try to bypass the intro to see if it works. Copy your T2 icon, go into the copy and edit the command line to say: c<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... ohwell.gif ALT=":\"> Dynamix\Tribes 2\Tribes2.exe -online Save it Try it If it comes up then, we know that it was the intro. If not then we need to try another driver from the VoodooFiles website, maybe a W2K driver. Let me know what happens.
