Homeworld source
Well, I've downloaded the source to Homeworld 1. It looks cool. There's build instructions and other documents in there, including how they designed the AI commands, ship chatter, and the like.

One thing I found amusing is a header file called "leakyfaucet." It defines a string that isn't really used by the program but contains a unique string so that if, perchance, an early build found its way out onto the net, the team could just examine the file to find out who their "leaky faucet" was. The theory isn't new; developers have been doing this for ages. I just thought it was funny to see it implemented.

XMEN member
Card-carrying DTM
OKL Fish-napper

Though a program be but three lines long, someday it will have to be maintained.
The Tao of Programming
