I have been getting into the writing stream again. There is another new section up today for you all to read.
*EDIT*
I have started rewriting the entire story to make it smother and to add in details that I failed to put in originally. This will also make it easyier for me to keep track of character development because I have been trying to set each chapter around one character instead of jumping around. The thread is also a poll to see how everyone thinks of the changes. My hope is that these changes will make the story more catching and thrilling as it is being made more believable.

Hey Gambit,
Is there some place I can down load X2 from the internet that will install it on my computer and let me play? I am really in a bind with the failure of my hard drive. I don't have any of the CD's to install any of the games I had been using regularly. It would be nice to at least have X2 to play until the end of this Quarter so I can go home and get X3.

Is there such a place? Yes. Though I can't tell you offhand where they are (I'd have to try to track 'em down) and can't really recommend you go there (malware galore). You might find it on Direct2Drive or other legit service, but you'd have to pay for that.
In short, I think you are out of luck, my friend. Blown hard drive = bad juju.

Ok, thanks. I guess I am stuck playing Startrek: Star Feet Command 3 as my primary game. I also have FreeLancer, Populous: The Beginning, Risk, Age of Empires, Master of Orion 2, and Tribes 2.

I have been getting some strong desires to play this again. I don't know if this laptop can handle the game, but I really want to play again. I will try it next time I am home and if it works I will return to the apartment with my joystick and get back into playing. This time I won't do a story game. I will do like I started doing in X3, being a pirate.
Should be interesting being a pirate and running around the universe with a fleet of M2's escorted by M6's. All shall bow down to me!
