The music that made the game...
anyone played Outlaws by Lucas Arts? I can't remember much about that game until I remember the music... it was a good game, but the music is what made the memories last
I still have the game CDs and play them in my CD player some background music...

Anyone else know of a game where the music was more memorable than the game itself?
I'll fire aimlessly if you don't come out!

Alright, the Tribes1 music is good. Very good, I'll say. But it's not "more memorable than the game itself", as far as I'm concerned. T1 will go down in my mind as a turning point in my gaming.

Now, let's see. Good soundtracks include just about anything Square put out for the Super NES; Super Metroid, oddly enough (though I also loved the game itself); Baldur's Gate; Legend of Zelda (go ahead, whistle the theme right now); and Grim Fandango. That last one was made by your Outlaw buddies at LucasArts, by the way, BlackRider.

<img border="0" src="http://www.xmenclan.org/avatars/t2red.g ... >
RedSirus@

Dragon Talon Mercenary > <a href=http://server2.ezboard.com/bdragontalon ... >
DTM Community > <a href=http://pub18.ezboard.com/fdtmonlinecomm ... s>RedSirus' Reviews

Brainwashed Fishmonger > Forum ...

I useually listened to that sound track while playing Tribes.

Final Fantasy 1 for the NES, just started playing this again a few days ago, and the music is basic but fits the game somehow.

     <EMBED src="Scorch.swf" quality=high bgcolor=#000000 WIDTH=440 HEIGHT=320 TYPE="application/x-shockwave-flash" PLUGINSPAGE="http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/dow ...

Mega Man. Right at a tie with the game itself.

StarSiege is in the same situation with me... I love the game and love the soundtrack.
