Zelda?

This is funny (or sad?). After watching that Nintendo a capella clip posted in the humor forum a few times over the space of about two weeks, I dusted off my gamepad, got out the emulator, and have been playing the original Legend of Zelda. I can't do it for too long, of course, or my brain starts to melt from the 8-bit graphics and sound, but it was a pretty entertaining game when new and can still occupy me for a while when I want to play something simple.
Never did finish the silly thing way-back-when. Wonder if I will now?

I can't wait for the new Zelda to come out on the GameCube. It is called 'The Legend of Zelda: Spiritual Princess,' I think. It is completely centered on older Link, instead of starting when he was a child. The graphics are unmatched by any other game on the GameCube, as far as I have heard. It should be out this fall.
I have been tempted to play some of the Zelda's on the Super Nintendo or the N64, granted Majoros Mask was not my favorite. Then again I may just pull out the Atari and play some Astroids or something on it.

It's not too hard to find an emulator and Ocarina of Time, if you want to go that route.

Ya I was watchin that show XPlay on TechTV or G4 or w/e it is
nowadays and they had it previewed. I've never really like nintendo
games myself but this one looked pretty sweet. The graphics did look
insanely better them most games for the Gamecube console imo. Link did
also look older like he was in his late teen years I think.
It looks to be a promising game, I might have to grab it and let you
guys know how it is if someone doesn't beat me to it

I have replayed the Zelda's for the Super Nintendo and N64 (before letting my brother take it to Texas). Even though the new Zelda has been pushed back I am still waiting eagerly for it. It maybe next year before I can get it due to budget constraints (basicly reached my game budget limit already for the year).
My favorite Zelda is 'Link to the Past' on Super Nintendo.

I don't know any emulators, I have the original games back home that I still play. I am interested in an emulator a bit so I can play some games I never did buy.

I have a pretty good archive of ROMs, Icey. Give me some time after I do my chores today and I'll see about gift-wrapping a very nice emulator and some good games for you.
