Does anyone play Starsiege? I know it's been out forever now, but I started Starsiege just after I did Tribes. (Then the Tribes/Starsiege Action pack was released two weeks later...) I just downloaded all the skin packs and mission files, and it looks to be a lot of fun again. (roughly 56Mb for the skins and missions, I have almost 4000 skins now) and it runs great on a less capable machine, and Ping isn't as important as in Tribes.<br><br>I wouldn't mind starting a small Squad if anyone was interested. Ya know, <br>XMEN|<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--><i> Playername</i><!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> on a herc battlefield would be neat.<br><br>BTW- Starsiege isn't too complicated, no skiing at mach 3, no script packs for the cheaters, etc. I think THAT would be a great game to work on tactics. I really like the War Games maps. If ya do it right, it could be lots of fun.<br><br>So is anyone with me? There's only one patch to DL, but I don't think it's too big. There's only been 4 since Starsiege was released. There are some really bad cheats for this game. People have been able to play as Prometheus, or a soldier on a motercycle. You think thats not bad? Prometheus can hold 6 of the heaviest weapons with hard points to spare, and the bike is so fast that the only way to destroy it is by using area damaging weapons and even that does little.<br><br>I am going to try and start playing Earthseige 1 & 2 again (the games that Starseige is based off of).
