Having a blast with it! I enjoy RTS'!

Pretty neat and fun. I mean with like 7 races to play with it has alot of replay value.

<img src=

Strategy and numbers are the key to this one. <img src=
http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /happy.gif ALT=":D"> Don't forget your defenses. At the end of a game, my torpedo and phaser turrets took out more ships than my ships. <img src=
http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /devil.gif ALT=":evil"> Watch the officer count. Every item you build has a number of officers with it. You have to be careful and plan your builds according to your officer limit.

I wouldn't recommend that you try the numbered alien race until you are familiar with the game. Alot of their stuff is different than the other races. If you want a sure victory, use the Borg race. Yes, I said Borg. You can assimilate other races. Bwahahahahaha! <img src=
http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /alien.gif ALT="0]"> The campaigns are pretty cool as well.

Victory is easier than in Empire Earth. The other races will still build in obscure places but the sensors of your ships help to find their new locations. Explore, Explore, Explore.

Finally, upgrades for your ships are crucial if you are the federation. You need better weapons and shields to outlast the enemy. Make sure a repair ship is with your Armada when you attack. Keep it in the background and send your ships to it as they are attacked.

Space stations are deadly. If you attack a race, take them out first. They can destroy your ships in a matter of seconds. Target them first and get the other ships next.

Hope you enjoy the game. It is very addicting. My dilemma now is, RTCW, SA II, or T2. Hmmmmmm, we'll have to see. I want to go home and play. <img src=

I love this game. My problem is that I am naturaly defencive in these types of games. The amount of ships you have can greatly tip the scales from a lose to a win.

I recomend that instead of putting all you resources and crew into the larger capital ships, which are very good, you build tons of little ships.

Playing online once, I was the Federation and was seperated from my allies. The enemy had blockaided all routes for trade and my resources were growing slimmer. With the enemy breathing down my neck, and letting their ships be shot out of space by my defences, I mass produced the Saber class starship. In a matter of minutes, I had 5 fleets of 16 Sabers ready for combat. The enemy were only using capital ships, they were cardasians, and I knew I would loose alot of ships.

Needless to say the smaller ships in larger numbers quickly over powered their larger ships in smaller numbers. After opening a trade route between me and my allies, I was able to continue my mass production untill I had 9 fleets of 16 (some ships were given to me).

The addition of warp to the game makes it a lot harder to defened the bases, since the enemy can warp right up next to the buildings. Only way to stop it is by having a nebula there (8472 can do this) or be next to a planet.

Over all its lots of fun and a lot better then the original.
-LoS-TimberWolfvehicle specilist
<img src="
