Midieval: Total War

I am SO addicted to this game! Sunday, I spent 8 hours playing this game. I thought it had only been 2! I get up to go eat some lunch and it was 6pm already! From an action gamer it doesn't look so addictive... but you get up to 10,000 men on the battle field at a time and if commanding them doesn't swell your ego there's all of Europe to conqure! Though all the assassins and the Pope get awful annoying... I had just finished taking 1/2 of France from the French when the Pope gives me two years to cease hostilities or the English would get excommunicated <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :\ --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/ohwell.gif ALT=":\"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON END--> So I went on a crusade to the holyland instead. (A crusade can pass through an ally's territory w/o attacking) But we 'accidentily' stopped at the top of Italy and ummm pilaged an Italian province or two or three... and in 5 years we were knocking on the Pope's front door... pffft and he thought he had the authority to tell me who not to invade... (Yes the papal states are their own separate nation, no you can't play that faction... though it would be cool to have the Pope qwone the world <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :) --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON END--> ) <p>I'll fire aimlessly if you don't come out!</p><i></i>
