At least, the single player game. Finally.

Went through as a pure sorceror. Gnome. Finished at level 16, which wasn't enough to let me use some of the cool things I'd discovered (or created) that required level 18-19.

The "make it yourself" features make this kind of interesting. There are special forges where the smith can make you stuff, and there are the wizard labs that you can put items into and cast spells on to make nice magic items. Assuming you have the recipies, of course.

All in all, I think I killed, hmm, six dragons. Yikes! One was a truly ancient Red, and that was the battle I had to reload-die-reload more than any other battle in the game. I shopped for the best stuff from all over to kill him with, too, and tried out several different henchmen just to get him. Oh, and there was one half-dragon Balor, too, that put up a good fight.

Not much in the way of Undead in the late game, but there are plenty of outsiders and constructs, so I guess you clerics won't find your skills wasted entirely.

And for any who doubted, yes, Aribeth DOES figure in the plot more than anyone but yourself, thoughout the game.

Now I have to experiment with playing different classes, multiplayer, GMing, and the editing tools...

XMEN member
Card-carrying DTM
OKL Fish-napper

Though a program be but three lines long, someday it will have to be maintained.
The Tao of Programming
