Got any Spare Monitors?
I've been debating whether or not I should lug my 19" Behemoth again with me this year, and I dedided that it might just be better to see if anyone has an extra monitor down there that I could use for the weekend. It'd save a ton of trunk space, and I don't know what AB is bringing, so I want to have as much room as possible. Anyone?

I may have my Laptop by then, so there'll be an extra gaming machine for people to play with, But this is only an approximation at this point.

Laptop Specs:
P4 3.2GHz w/ HT (800Mhz FSB)
512Mb DDR
128Mb Radeon Mobility 9600
60Gb 5400 RPM HDD
XP Pro
15.4" WXGA LCD

It may just run games better than my PC..
Athlon XP 2400+
1GB PC2700 DDR
GF4 Ti 4400 128Mb
60Gb 7200RPM HDD
XP Pro

"Never, Never, Never Quit" -Winston Churchill

To all parties with monitor issues:

FWIW, as a last resort, there is a used computer parts store not far from the facility. They have used monitors for sale, and their 15" ones go for $20-$30.

The place also has a 7-day return policy, but they exchange it for store credit only.

So, you could buy a monitor Friday, then return it Sunday and pick out some other stuff from the store to take home with you. They have a few new games, mostly older stuff, electronics of all sorts, movies, accessories, trinkets, and so on. Lots of junk, but still it'd be easy to spend that cash on something. They have a lot of old laptops under $100, for example, if you just wanted something to goof around with.

I did go by there today and ask if they'd be interested in renting some of them, and the management flatly refused. Ah, well.

XMEN member
Card-carrying DTM
OKL Fish-napper

Though a program be but three lines long, someday it will have to be maintained.
The Tao of Programming
