First of all...we take a year off and everyone turns out to have a life and disappears. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/roll.gif ALT=":rollin"> Turn out for the LAN is about half normal. So...would a Springtime LAN work out? Just a thought. Comments? Ideas? Problem with spring is all the school-sponsored sports stuff and overlap with spring break. Winter is bad for travel. Summer in TX is, er, warm. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)"> Even late spring is. That's why we picked fall to begin with. I wouldn't mind if it was held during spring break, it would give me more time to get there meaning I could drive because I would not be pressed for time.

i'd agree with gryphon, weather should'nt be a consideration over individual limitations of the people coming although it's really nice in texas this time of year, we could just as easily do it in the height of summer when its 110 degrees outside, just crank up the AC to max, and we can use fans to route the cool air from other parts of the building like we do the power, i have 3 high airflow fans about 1.5 times the size of that little one we had in there we can use for that it'd be great to have it when school is out <img src="http://www.hosting-hub.com/filedeposit/ ... 04/sig.jpg" style="border:0;"/>

After my winter break, I'll have zero vacation hours. I won't have any sizable vacation hours until about March, and it will only be one or one and a half. I'm using at least 8 hours to go to Idaho with my girlfriend to meet some of her extended family next spring. I get one full vacation day every four weeks. Since I didn't make it this last time, I'm definitely planning out some vacation and some work schedules for next year. Spring/summer would be cool to have a LAN out here in California. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/wink.gif ALT=";)">
