For those of my friends that don't have access to our private area I just wanted to share some pain in the hopes that some of you can comfort me and give me advice through the process.<br><br>My wife served me with divorce papers on Friday. It is friendly so far. It was not totally unexpected. We have not liked each other for a long time. We make good friends but drive each other nuts.<br><br>So, it begins. Dealing with Attorneys and the pain of splitting up almost 20 years of stuff just sucks, and especially the pain it will cause my two girls. I'm very sorry to hear that Ice. Most of the advice I can offer you is as a child of divorced parents, and most of it is comon sense.<br><br>Stay as much friends with your soon to be ex-wife as possible, for your girls sake. My wife is also from divorced parents and the difference between the two is extreme. My folks can barely spend time in the same room together, where my wife's parents still chat, and socialize together.
