Where's Mav?

Come in! Have a margarita or root beer? How about some fresh trout? :)

Where's Mav?

Believe it or not I actually started restoring my MR2. Body work is actually quite fun despite the heartbreak from every new rust spot you find. I've just got to keep the hope of a shiny new MR2 alive.

Actually, what happened to Mavicator? He posted once in December... but I don't know if he's shown since. I want to know what happened to his website. I want to see his MGs again.

I have always wanted the new model one you have. But then again I have been lusting after a Lotus S8 Turbo Esprit for a long time. :)

When I decide to restore a car, I'll do all the mechanical and electrical work, and leave the body and interior to the professionals. A man's got to have his limits! But I'll probably buy an airplane before that.. They're not as expensive as one might think.

Hat, you've got to try new things... its best to try 'em out on the cheaper parts though. Painting is much fun! (Hand sanding gets old pretty quick though.)

Planes are not as expensive as one might think, but they are much more expensive than the price tag. :P

Ice, if you get an Esprit, I will drive cross-country to see it. :)
You could always compromise and buy a $5k MR2 and do a $5k v6 swap. Then just add in a super charger for 300hp and still get 35+ mi/gal. (That's what I'm planning once I get out of school.)

The neat thing about getting and engine out of an MR2 is that you don't pull the engine up out of the car. You pick up the car to get it off of the engine. :P

...even if you can't quite do it with one hand.
