Bad start to the day...
This morning at around 7:30, I get a phone call, and it's the front entryway in my apartment building:
Me: (groggily) Hello?
Door: This is the Coon Rapids Police Department, your car has been broken into in the garage, and your radio was stolen out of it, please let me in, and we can asses the damage and make sure nothing else was taken.
Me: OK. (*buzz*)
So we go downstairs, and sure enough, my radio was gone, and my CDs were gone, end everything was gone through. As soon as it hit me that my car had been violated, I freaked a bit, because my Security Badge was in there for work, and that thing is $100 to replace, let alone all the hassel it takes to get one. You know what else? They stole my 6 pack of Air freshener trees too... I mean, WTF?
It's sad when you park in a "secure" garage and your car gets broken into. Now I have to call the insurance company, and get all this rolling, it's been just a string of shit lately, and I'm tired of it.

I talked with the Insurance, and American Family is apparently different than any other Insurance agency in the whole freaking world. I am so unhappy with their claims service, I'm gonna switch. I can't stand American Family.
I bought a new Radio today, goes in tomorrow at noon, so I'll have tunes again soon. I just feel so dirty, and violated. You don't ever mess with a mans' car.. That's just wrong.

Hang in there. Even if life sends a few more curve balls your way, know that it will get better.
That just sucks. Though it reminds me of a friend... she got her car broken into while it sat in a secure garage with all the other residents' cars of her condominium complex, and the thieves did it by pulling up on the garage door. Apparently some models automatically release when you do this, and this was one of those models.
They caught the people that did it, but she was definitely freaked out.

I'm not too worried. Just need to be a little more cautious I guess, remove the faceplate from the radio when I leave it, etc. I'll have tunes again in a couple hours.
What's neat, is that mty old Deck is on clearance now, for under the magic $99.99 at Best buy, so if I were to get the same one again, it would cost me about the same as a niceer one, so now I get one that plays MP3 and WMA files. I put 5.5 hrs (5 CDs worth) of tunes on one disc and still had about 200Mb to go. So in a way, I kind of win in this thing, it just costs me money.
*EDIT* BTW, This is the deck I'm getting.. should be pretty nice, I think.
