Students: write open source this summer, get bux from Google

Google is trying to promote open source (and) education.

I would have SO loved something like this when I was in HS!! Or college, for that matter. There are a ton of suggestions posted if you need a starting point. They're offering $4500 if you finish a project this summer.

If we have any students here who want to participate, I will gladly help you with one of these projects.

too bad I'm not a full-time student ATM

I might take a project idea and try it anyway. I'll look over all of the project ideas later this weekend. I need to get back into coding anyway.
