My company sent me up to Chicago for a few days, so here I am with my trusty laptop and a complimentary hotel internet connection. As of this time, all is well.

So far, North Texas has been windier, IMHO.

I've traveled to Chicago on business more often than anywhere else, and I've never especially thought it was windy. However, I've not been here much in the winter when the wind is blowing off the lake.

Chicago is a nice place to be.... but I dont like it as much as my New York!
