I need a good xmen role play site. My last one closed down and I am feeling quite out of the loop! Please help if you have one!

We'd love to be able to help you, Rivka, but we don't do much of that. I don't even know that we can point the way to an existing one for you. However, I would be willing to create a forum for such a purpose on this board if there is some interest here. I know Ravok has done Star Trek role-playing in this format.
So, basically, sell us on the idea. Start a sample thread or two and see what happens. I'll facilitate, and likely participate, but I can't drive the process.
(Just for background, we're a computer gaming clan. We're not very centered on the XMEN universe although most of us have read some comics and are familiar with it, and I think almost everyone's seen the movies.)
