Don't rush things!
Don't keep thinking to yourself: Okay, I've got to kiss her on the first date, screw her on the second, and any of that kind of thinking. You gotta just be cool and keep it natural.
As a 21 year old man, you've got to get out and meet a TON of people to figure out the signs that someone is interested in you. And I'm talking about real signs, not imagined things. Things like them going out of their way to touch you, or ask you questions and have a genuine interest, laugh at the stupidest jokes you tell, or whatever. But the key to all of that is to get out and do stuff with as many people as you run across (this is why college is so great for this kind of thing!). Remember that no matter how much you like what you see in someone, you should realize that you have to work with averages. If someone likes you, then they like you and there's nothing you can do about it. If they don't, you'll know pretty quick. And it's the ones that return your interest fairly quickly that are the ones you should investigate further. You can think of it like an interview for a kick-ass job.
